We remember six Canadian Army soldiers: Private Kevin Vincent Kennedy, Private David Robert Greenslade, Sergeant Donald Jason Lucas, Corporal Brent Donald Poland, Corporal Aaron Edward William and Corporal Christopher P. Stannix, who died on this day in Afghanistan in 2007, when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb.
158 Canadian Armed Forces members lost their lives in service while participating in our country’s military efforts in Afghanistan.

There was 6 killed that day. You are forgetting Corporal Christopher P. Stannix, of the Princess Louise Fusiliers. I know because I carried his casket onto the Herc. I also rushed to the Roll 3 when the air sentry from the same unit was injured in the blast that shredded the LAV of C/S 22B. It’s kinda disrespectful to forget a person that was involved in that attack. Because he wasn’t, what RCR?
